I know you guys are into the hotwheels but personally I'm more into the 1:43 Minichamps.

It seems that my '02-project will take some more months (next week the body is being sandblasted) so to ease my pains I got this lovely model. It's very close to how mine is supposed to be. Only things that differ: This is 'Colorado' Orange (mine will be 'Inka' Orange), this is a pre-facelift model (mine is a post-'73 which has a somewhat other nose with less chrome) and these are original - but optional - BMW rims (I've got Alpina).

At least I've got something to stare to the next couple of months.

I love Minichamps and Corgis! I'm trying to complete the Ford of Europe lineup circa late 70's to early 80's. What I have now is the Capri and the Granada. All I need now is a Cortina MK.4 and an Escort MK.2. Maybe a Transit just so it's the full lineup.

I really want to get a 1:43 Spitfire MkIV. Then I'll paint it in the same Valencia Blue that my car will be, and model on the GT6 bonnet bulge.

Little mini version of my car, like this :)

Ha, great suggestion for a picture when my project is finished as well, thanks: I will share it!

Hot damn! I love everything about that. The real one and the model Here's the orange gem of my collection. It's a Schuco, at 1:87 I believe, but the detail is pretty impressive. Unfortunately I don't have a real one to match!

Not sure if I'm the only one not seeing the picture you posted?

I've got a mint '69 Ford Capri, Hellgrün, if you're interested. Bought a bunch of Minichamps for peanuts when a local toy-store went out of business.

It would have been VERY impressive if you had a Group 5 E21 to match. But a 'normal' E21 320/6 or 323i to match should not be that far out of reach!

(Your) Schuco is great, I really love the level of detail of the 1:43 Minichamps for that kind of money.

Ha, don't tempt me! There's a really clean Euro 323i for sale in my area, but I'm keeping myself entertained with an e30 at the moment.

I can't see it too. Ok, let's try again. The Granada is a Corgi and the Capri is a Minichamps
